WELCOME TO THE PGA OF INDIA

Since its establishment in 1988, The PGA of India has been the cornerstone bringing together the golf professional community of members.

 

The PGA of India managed the professional tour of India unto the year 2006 

​

Over 200 professional tour events were conducted by the PGA of India during these crucial formative years of professional golf in India. 

​

In 2003-2004 with the help of Dr Donato di Ponziano the PGA of India along with the Indian Golf Union and supported by the Pga's of Europe and R&A instituted the Indian National Golf Academy  to train and certify professional members of the association.

​

The PGA with the help of its professional members continued to support junior golf events and camps promoting the development of golf after 2006.

​

The PGA of India managed the IGU National Junior Golf Tour from the year 2007-2009 with funds raised from the Lalit Suri group. 

​

PGA Junior national camps were held in association with the IGU at various venues by certified Class A members to identify and train junior talent.

​

In 2013 to reward the yeomen services rendered the PGA of India introduced multiple professional prize money events exclusively for professional golfers aged 50+ and certified teaching professionals. These were held in various venues and were well appreciated by all participants.

Our vision of promotion and development of our members have made us launch the PGA EDUCATION program which will help our members reach their highest potential has been put together with the best industry practices and research.
